CIRACET Corp implements a Biomedical Equipment Management and Maintenance Program (EMMP) which provides maintenance and repair of all devices included in the Biomedical Equipment Inventory, together with all related support services. All repairs and/or preventive maintenances (PM’s) will be performed to evaluate, restore and/or confirm continuous proper operation of each device listed. Additional assistance is available during equipment selection, acquisition and integration phases.
The EMMP is based on strict procedural guidelines for managing the effective, safe and reliable operation of medical equipment. The EMMP also provides support to the Hospital's Safety Committee and the Health Care Facility Administration in areas such as the National Patient Safety Goals.
The EMMP maintains complete and continuous compliance with the JCAHO medical equipment management requirements. These requirements are designed to assess and control the clinical and physical risks of fixed and portable equipment used for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and care of patients.
